Terms of Service

These Terms of Service outline the expectations, responsibilities, and conditions for clients engaging services from LAYCRAFT TILING. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.

Services Provided

LAYCRAFT TILING provides professional tiling services including installation, waterproofing, preparation, renovation tiling, and related work. We guarantee to deliver the highest quality workmanship within our ability and in accordance with industry standards.

Quotes & Consultations

All quotes and general advice are free of charge.

Quotes are based on the information provided by the client at the time of consultation. Any adjustments due to unforeseen conditions may affect the final price.

Payments

A portion of the total quoted amount must be paid upfront as a deposit to secure the booking.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the job.

Payment is required before final sign-off unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Materials & Tiles

Clients may provide their own tiles if they prefer.

If LAYCRAFT TILING supplies tiles or materials, additional charges will apply to cover purchase costs, transport, and handling.

Once materials have been purchased for a job, the client is responsible for these costs even if they change their mind about tile selection.

Job Quality & Satisfaction

We commit to delivering clean, precise, and professional workmanship.

If the work meets industry standards and is completed correctly, but the client is dissatisfied for aesthetic reasons related to their own tile choice or design requests, no refund will be offered.

However, we may offer a discounted rate for rework purely for aesthetic changes.

Refunds are not available for jobs completed correctly and signed off.

Rework & Corrections

If any part of the job is proven to be defective due to workmanship issues, we will fix it at no extra cost within a reasonable timeframe.

This does not apply to damage caused by the client, other trades, structural movement, or incorrect information provided to us.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate project information
  • Ensure work areas are accessible
  • Notify us of any structural, plumbing, or electrical issues that may affect tiling
  • Approve tile selections, layouts, and patterns before installation begins

We are not responsible for delays or additional costs due to undisclosed issues or site conditions.

Property Access

Clients must ensure we have safe, uninterrupted access to the site during agreed working hours. Delays caused by access restrictions may incur additional charges.

Changes & Additional Work

Any changes requested after work has started may affect the cost or timeline. We will inform the client before proceeding.

Liability

LAYCRAFT TILING is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Water damage caused by unrelated plumbing issues
  • Structural shifts, cracks, or movement outside our control
  • Tiles supplied by the client that are faulty, inconsistent, or poor quality

We will always advise if we believe tiles provided may affect the final result.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased or the job has been scheduled.

If the client cancels without a valid reason or adequate notice, additional fees may apply.

Acceptance of Terms

By hiring LAYCRAFT TILING, receiving a quote, or booking a service, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms of Service.
